Swiftwind

Postby Adriorn Darkcloak » Sun Mar 05, 2006 3:53 pm

Swiftwind and Windsong are two long quests. But both quests yield weapons that can't be dual-wielded. Just an idea, but how about making Swiftwind low enough weight to be dual-wielded by elves. Windsong/Swiftwind combo should be very pretty to see in action, and nice to be wielding two moonblades. I personally do not care, since I play a real Human ranger, but just thought it might be worth considering. I do not think it would unbalance things at all in regards to how they are right now. Maybe I'm wrong!

Is Starsong still in the game? Quested it a couple of years ago, don't have it anymore, wondering if it got the axe or something.

I think it has to do with the lame view of rangers as elves. You know, like Aragorn. Oh wait...

Hold thy tongue, else I shall be forced to unleash the powers of Swiftpoof and Showtunesong upon thee! Of course, if it is a water room I'll probably use Arsewind x2 since it floats.

Yeh they are both quite hard quests, would be cool to be able to wield both swords if you have done them, I can't see it making rangers over powered or significantly changing balance personally. Touch Adriorn!

My swiftwind sits in storage now. With swiftwinds apparently come lightning that zaps me like I'm some kind of orc.

Damn those elves are not friendly.

Erlan: Thanks for all your help.
Me: You're welcome!
Erlan: Have this sword that does almost no damage, has a proc that will work for you about once out of every twenty times, and will most likely kill you.
Me: ...
Erlan: What? Did you want a real quest reward?
Teflor does. Teflor does not.

Yeah Tef, completely hear ya. Mystra made them all !human since they are "moonblades". I'm wondering when "sunblades" are coming in so they can be !elf. That's how it works right?!
