Well, plain to see that some zones aren't going to be done very often after equipment changes.
It seems the zones don't generate enough points to spread between the equipment in the zone...
So I suggest that the zone owners (or if none can be found the areas staff) go through these zones and work out how to either beef the zone up, or remove some items so that points can be redistributed and the zone can be made worthwhile again.
So using crypts as an example (why did I pick crypts? *whistle*)....
Maybe drop the crown, and the spiked staff, and that might give enough points to boost the amulet up and put a prot on the ring.

How about lower the number of rewards for epic quests..then maybe you can get 1 or 2 or 3 real nice to uber items, instead of listening to everyone who thinks they're 'leet' bitch about how crappy the 83 rewards for their quest is.
And yes, I do agree quest rewards need loving, but when you get so many items for some quests, you can't really justify better statted items without reducing the number of rewards..
