I've maintained for a long time now that CP is not doable. Aside from the crazy number of mobs, there are just too many paths for them to take. All it takes is one mob to get by you and Ecock is dead.

The strange thing is that some mobs seem to 'pop in' at him and bypass walking around, so you can be successfully holding the gates and something will mysteriously get through.

That's funny that the weakest of the devils is anything over level 10. These things are utterly mindless, so it's not like they can 'gain experience' and 'level up'. They are pathetic creatures that that mainly serve as slaves and conscript troops for the more powerful baatezu. They should not be anything over level 20.

i think its way too early to say that its undoable. There were several problems with our demon run that i'm sure we can fix.

1. we were late entering west gate on the demon wave.
2. inner gate died on human wave. we needed inner gate for a second stand.
3. we took a long long time to cr after #1, some of the players weren't even CRd when we made our final quasi-stand.
