An Abandoned Mine Tunnel
You are in a narrow mining tunnel. The tunnel has been arduously
delved through solid rock. Every ten feet you notice heavy support
beams. From a distance, a faint dripping sound can be heard. A rusty
pair of cart tracks indicates that the tunnel has been deserted for
some time now. The tunnel continues to the north and south.
Exits: - North - South
A drow hunts for people here.
A tough looking, scar covered bugbear leans against the passage wall here.
A gaunt looking troll grunts in confusion.
Hiding in the shadows here is a crafty looking bugbear.

Your bash at a crafty bugbear sends him sprawling.

A scarred bugbear misses you with his strike.
A scarred bugbear attacks you, landing a single hit.

You attack a crafty bugbear, landing a single hit.

when did scarred bugbears start assisting other mobs ... and i wasnt aggro to the other mobs?

From looking at the mob, they don't assist other mobs. From looking at your log, it didn't assist the other bugbear as there was no "I must assist my friend!" text. I'm guessing you somehow aggro'd the the scarred bugbear on a previous run or something.

I've seen times where you don't always get that message. Not entirely sure why, just know it happens sometimes.

This may be related:

I've noticed in CM that if I'm exping against bugbears or duergars (for instance) with my necro, when my pets assist me they will growl at whichever bugbear/duergar is in the top of the room list, whether it's the mob I'm fighting or not. The pets will always engage the correct mob, but they will growl at the wrong one.

That's really old. I recall we used to joke about that years ago in Split Shield back when people still did XP/align there.
