And with the latest turn of events, I can't look it up while at work but if someone comes on first, I think it's about time I use the potion I have with me, I still have an axe wound. Along with that, what check is there for it? a use magic item check of sorts?

I think you regen HP over time--not sure how long it's been since you received that wound, Mori would be able to tell you if you've regained any HP since the last encounter.

You regain hp with rest. There's a table of it somewhere but IIRC you gain 1 hp per HD when you rest 8 hours, and that rate is doubled if you convalesce for a day.

You don't need any skill to use potions; just drink and the spell takes effect.

Weird. Playing mud is ok with me, but when I see P&P or hear about it, all I think is 'NERD'

Specially the ones who really RP. Guess it's something the ones that do partake will never outgrow or cease enjoying. I feel I've missed out somehow!
