This thread made me remember that in 3.x paladins can damage undead with a touch instead of using lay on hands to heal themselves. I wonder if this will be implemented, or if it's too annoying to do so.
Another concern is whether or not it detracts from the Antipaladin niche, and whether Antis (or Blackguards, or Paladins of Tyranny/Slaughter) will have the option to heal undead with a touch.

Of course, if you are implementing the whole positive/negative energy spells system, then all healing spells would become undead nukes, spells like heal undead would become offensive spells, and over half the necromancy spells would provide healing to any undead minions one might be dragging about.
It would certainly make things interesting if, for example, someone wanted to take a group full of clerics and shamans to CC.

Layhands has damaged undead (including undead players) on Duris for years. I can't imagine it would be more than a few lines of code under the new system.
