Requests and Ideas?

Now, down to business.

Really liking the ease of mudlet, and i've got 11 days of vaca coming up.
Here's a list of my current mod ideas for the script, nysslib is a great base, but im working to make these standalone.

1) keep track of mobs/monsters not only in the room but in the zone, each time we pass a mob, ill add it to a database, then if we combat the mob
ill grab the name. and the kill.

This would track rare loads and report them to the all knowing katumi.

2) a quest helper for common quests with a way to edit and share them for in game info, mob locations, items required etc

3) world map baybee

I've generated a more reasonable version of nysses world checker that shows it to us graphically, but one problem.
I had to export the map to a database

sucks if you want to hide things

open to suggestions, gotta go to work for last 11 hours...

So looking at nysses current DB release, it just so happens that it is based on the kegor/katumi stuff we built back in what 03?
Most of the new db stuff is just informative and unused by the triggerset.

originally when we wrote the character/load/item db there was alot of adding manual things like the (Q) and (ZONE)

if we merge the existing db with the map code, add a mob db, the next logical step would be a quest db

the pushback on the map thing is really ridiculous borderline childish.

you have a playerbase of 50 at best

you arent making a dime for doing this

elite people who know everything tend to quit

on a side note ive been playing with unreal engine 4

can make a really pretty world map and trigger set with old tintin code as a base, 20% through code of a new mud client
and im day 1 of vacation
