highliting text

Postby Sarvis » Sat Jan 27, 2001 5:38 am

I think I did this once before... but how can I get it to chance the color of a certain string of text in Zmud? Like I want "scrambles madly to his feet." to be bright white instead of the normal color it would be so I can see it easier...

I found this posted on a web page. I hope this answers your question. Keep in mind this is for ZMUD.

Let's say you want to have the word Shevy to appear in red. You would just make the following trigger:

Pattern: Shevy
Command: #cw RED
Let's say, with normal ZMud colors and no trigger, when the MUD sends:
Miax gossips "Hello Shevy"
would now turn into Shevy into red colored text. Depending on how many triggers you have, the color possibilities are frightening!

Or you could use #color to to color the whole string. (line)

like:
#TRIGGER {*sends you sprawling*} {#color 6}

or something like that.

<font color="red">A rhemoraz sends you sprawling with a powerful bash.</font>

The coloring is great, however, i get so spamed with ansi in battle that I would prefer "blinking". Can this be done? I am using Zmud 6.26a (beta)

I use that one for 'switches targets'.
