I've been searching some time for an acceptable linux mud client. Here's the one I currently use: <A href="http://dw.nl.eu.org/mudix.html">gMUDix</A>.
I think it's a source only distribution. I'm using it under KDE, but, it may work on other window managers.
If you have any questions, give me a holler. I don't have pages and pages of triggers/aliases/macros/etc. but I've made some that others may find useful. The only thing that I can think of that it doesn't have, that I wish it did, is coloring text for trigger matching.

This is a GTK+ program, gui based, instead of commandline based. I think I saw a gui frontend to tintin++, but, I didn't grab it, because I wanted a gui client.
