so im shopping for a new laptop and am wondering is vista fixed yet? Its an extra 350 to get xp on the laptop im looking at and if vista is starting to be workable i'd rather not spend it. as is vista compatiable with zmud thats a biggie.

Yes, it worls with zmud.

Get it with vista and just buy a copy of XP from newegg.com for 175 or whatever it is now.

Vista compatible with zmud? I've yet to find a machine that this was true on, every vista machine I've encountered won't load Zmud. Cmud isnt too bad though.

zmud 7.21 runs fine on all three of my vista machines

something else on your machines is causing it to not work.

Damn, US$350 is a hell of a lot, that's nasty.
Try and buy one with no OS at all, then get Maxler to install it and set it all up for you.
