insurers dropping their child policies becaues they don't want to be saddled with people buying coverage as soon as their kid needs some expensive treatment. Besides the abuse of such a system, the insurers say that they didn't want to have to raise costs for their existing customers which they would have to do because of the new healthcare reform law's provisions. So now parents have less choices and healthcare reform raises costs. This must be what Obama meant when he said if you like your plan you can keep it.

Oh no, insurance companies trying to avoid expansive costs that hit all of their other customers in the form of higher premiums. How dare they try to serve their own customers! Don't they understand that the Democrat party is relying on this magic to look good and buy votes?
