Here's the current list of weapons and their associated types and critical threat ranges and modifiers. I'll try to get this in an easier to digest form, but it should work for now. Note that their are other attributes of the new weapon format, but only the critical hit aspects are being used now.

So far it seems like crit rate has gone up considerably on longswords. Basket hilt for sure is proccing more for my dire. Another few weapons/zones to consider changing over:

etched dagger enshrouded in swirling shadows (calimport?)
the brilliantly shining horn of a kirin (yath olath)
a three-headed whip of living slime (hulburg)
an ancient biting duergar battleaxe (darklake)
a battleaxe dripping with fresh blood (dragonspear)
a darkened black steel longsword (myth drannor)
a serrated war-axe encrusted with frost (ice crag 2)

yeah I know, but he asked for people to specifically note stuff to temporarily change over as well as to make suggestions on what kind of weapon/weapon types should be altered re: crit mod/range to be more balanced/pwny

Is a double scimitar supposed to have a weaker crit chance than a regular scimitar?

Not sure, I'll check. There weren't any double weapons in the game when I made this, so they didn't get scrutinized as much as some of the others.

I think the greatsword is wrong, right now it is 6-2 like a dagger.

It could be 3-3, since 6-2 and 3-3 adds up to the same.
