The Political Compass
Re: The Political Compass
I didn't get past the first question..
It then gives various agree or disagree responses.
I can't agree nor can I disagree with that statement. Economic globalisation is inevitable, and it serves the interests of humanity by allowing corporations to do business efficiently. The question itself is nonsensical.
If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.

Having said all that, the situation has been handled, so this thread is pretty much at an end. -Kossuth

Perhaps!
I think I just need some help. How am I supposed to answer whether I agree or disagree with the statement: "Controlling inflation is more important than controlling unemployment" if I strongly believe that neither should be 'controlled'?

If the questions were written more artfully I would probably have a stronger Libertarian score. I just found myself typing "disagree" whenever I got to a loaded question that didn't have any appropriate answers. Basically disputing the question itself.

Based on the chart, I'm a Neo-Liberal Fascist.
I’m glad to see that the Dalai Lama, The Pope, and George Bush also took the time to take this survey.

I had a lot of trouble with a lot of the questions and answers.
For example something to the effect of are CEOs and engineers more important than artists and musicians?
well... no they aren't more important in and of themselves for the stability of a society in the proper distribution. So I choose disagree. On the other hand if you want to say "just as important" means 1:1 ratio between engineers and sculptors... I would choose strongly agree, artists are not as important as engineers.
