The gates is open.
You extend your sights southwards.
Before the Gates of Clan Trilamir
The clouds here stop abruptly as they meet an obsidian complex. Tall
gates climb easily two hundred feet. The gates are made of pure silver.
A large emblem covers most of the face of the gates. Its a picture of a
giant eagle in flight, a shield gripped in one claw, and a harp in the
other. The sun portrayed in a dark gold is noteable in the backdrop of
the eagle. The open sky is a welcome change from the thick hazey clouds
that cover the region south of here.
Room size: Enormous (L:200 ft W:250 ft H:500 ft)
Exits: - North - South

Lost in the Clouds
An immense slow swirling bank of fog and clouds limits visibility
greatly here. The dense foggy cloud cover allows very little light in.
Just enough light, however, to make the suns remote presence known. The
cloud cover around you in the limited area of visiblity, and beyond,
radiate a silverish, white haze of glowing light. This, coupled with
the constant mist of a slow drizzle, only impairs your vision more.
The humidity is remarkable. Penetrating moisture from all around soaks
you to the bone in a matter of minutes. The temperature is fairy warm,
making the humidity impossible to ignore. The muggy haze is ever
constant and invariable, making any means of accurate direction sense
virtually impossible. The occasional burst of thunder breaks the eerie
silence this place seems to harbor within. Barely detectable flashes of
lightning periodically add a slight lustrous glimmer to the dim haze of
encompassing clouds that envelop your very being.
Room size: Enormous (L:250 ft W:250 ft H:250 ft)
Exits: - North - East - South - West - Up - Down

It didnt quite make the news but mislead/disguise were changed so that you can be tracked by hunting mobs in an adjacent room.

No offense and all, but this doesn't just apply to illusionists. The news entry:

02/26/03 A Hunting We Will Go...
- Mobs will be slightly smarter when picking a prey to hunt.

Anything tracking anyone(misled, pwt'd) w/ I presume farsee, will track to adjacent rooms if you are just standing there.

Twinshadow
Danahg tells you 'yeah, luckily i kept most of it in my mouth and nasal membranes, ugh'

Dlur group-says 'I have a dead horse that I'm dragging down the shaft with my 4 corpses. Anyone want to help me beat it?'

Calladuran: There are other games to play if you want to play with yourself.

Also in the news:

03/06/03 Bug fixed
- Mobs were given the 'win game' button. Mob AI will allow them to 'press'
this button and win the game, destroying you and everyone grouped with you at the time.

Whats great about the change is they track you while you are hidden now but they still cannot hit you. Which is really nice if you want to bring a group of mobs to a specific spot (walk kosty to brimir?). Or maybe clear a portion of a grid of all aggros.

Heh, as funny as that comment is, it wouldn't suprise me somehow.

Whats up with the changing how stuff works and then not saying anything? I dont get it... how does it hurt the game to let the players know whats done?
Post expanded news about changes and stuff on boards!

And [standard anti-anti-twink rant].

Because it's the ultimate goal of one particular person (no names mentioned, though I am sure a lot of people know of whom I speak), to make this game as unfun as possible for the playerbase, so this person can gloat how cool they are.

This has got to be one of the more nonsensical changes in a while.

Bitter? Hell yes. I miss my old fun Sojourn.
