Defensive skills going off?

Has anyone else noticed that alot of the defensive skills aren't going off alot since defense have been put in place? Is this a bug or just a dial turned down too low..It takes me being attacked 80 times or so before something fires off with my level 20 paladin same thing with my level 40 anti paladin and my level 40 troll warrior. was just wondering about it.

I don't know if its since the defensive skill rework, but over the past 2 weeks theres definately been something wacky with caster skills, particularly quick chant and meditate (cuz I guess those are th eonly ones we can easily notice).

and ress failure is strange, ive failed 4 in the last week, prior to that ive failed 3 the whole wipe
