Anyone else notice the insane difficulty in the stat roller? Was just wondering if this is going to be tweaked any? The old one was much better comparing them as they are now. It was faster to get to 10 and see uf your roll was any good than trying to roll with the new roller
Relnor, Rolln' Rolln' Rolln'...
Roller
<rant>
Bad: 25-50
Mundane: 51-65
Average: 66-75
Fair: 76-81
Good: 82-87
Mighty: 88-93
Heroic: 94-99
Perfect: 100
With the old system, the best you could do is "good", which was somewhere between (I believe) 75 and 100. Today, this encompasses Fair, Good, Mighty, Heoric, and Perfect.
I submit that everyone is just being more picky about what stats they'll accept, rather than the generator being any harder.
I mean -- go into the system. How hard is it to get all Fairs or higher for a character? This would be the "best" possible character under the old system, because it would have represented all "goods".
The only reason things appear more difficult is because you have more information, and this allows you to reject characters that previously would have been fine.

One addendum -- am I the only one who constantly percieves "Average" to be superior to "Fair"? It seems that these two slots should be switched.
Then again, I could just be on crack.
Also, it would be *really* nice if you folks could color the values according to rank (eg; red for bad, yellow for average-ish, green for good+).
