Mobs regen from morted instantly.. grrr

Check this out:

A bounty hunter's body is wracked with spasms as you touch it!
A bounty hunter is mortally wounded, and will die soon, if not aided.

This happens a LOT, and can get group members killesd for no reason. Its especially deadly to casters, since if the offensive spell just morts the mob, it'll heal to awful instantly and get a swing at the mage before it dies.

This is really just a feature of DIKU. If the tick happens at just the wrong moment (which it will do occasionally, and be annoying when it does), the mob will get a few hit points.

Seems like it happens a lot more than occasionally though. And if thats the case, mob regen is damned high to go from morted to awful in 1 tick....

The immorts changed the speed at which mobs regen this go around. Things are definately healing faster, and they did it that way on purpose. What needs to be done is to add some code so that mobs that are incapacitated/morted should NOT heal at the new faster rate, but should be as lame as we are when we go below -2 hp.

This is a bug, mentioned in another thread. D2 said it is very difficult to track down, but is being worked on. The bug is not that it heals from mort to awful in one round, but that the mud does not recognize it as being morted for one round, allowing an extra round before it lies down and decides to die. As far as I know, this bug only occurs when it is morted by a spell.
