Golm starts casting an offensive spell.

< T: Touk TC: small wounds E: burglar EC: small wounds>
You complete your spell...
A cat burglar seems to be blinded!
You miss a cat burglar with your pound.
Yayaril barely pierces a cat burglar.
Touk blocks a cat burglar's attack with his shield!
Touk dodges a cat burglar's attack.
A cat burglar switches targets..
Touk barely slashes a cat burglar.

< T: Dornax TC: excellent E: burglar EC: small wounds>

Also, earlier, we had a cat burglar scarlet outlined and it was still able to flee and hide. Even though it was glowing scarlet. Image

The cat used its whiskers to search out the foe it really wanted to attack.

Yayaril pulls a cat's tail! Rrrowl!

Yeah, I've seen that too. If you blind a mob, it is still able to switch in the same round even though its blind. Probably some timing issue with the combat code.

The blind effect doesn't seem to do anything during the round it lands (if in the middle of a combat round). You'll also notice they hit just fine during that round.

This is the same effect with all spells. If coldshield goes up the instant the round takes place, any hits will not be reflected. If you faerie fire a mob the instant the round takes place, you won't have a bonus to hit, if you blind it, it won't be blind.. this is always the case if the spell goes off the same instant as the round (no prompts in between).

Faerie Fire used to light them up too. Yet the other night, after I FF a cat, he fled, and was still able to hide. It didn't use to be that way.
