Tells and the Light

If I can't send tells to people who are in daylight, I don't want people without Ultravision to be able to send me tells when I'm in darkness.

I think, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but only those races with infravision can see folks who are in the dark to send them tells. Or maybe it was that way but isn't now.

Personally, I would just as soon see a message pop up every time you sent a tell to someone who can't see you to reply, either cause you're in the dark or cause your invisible or whatever.

Personally i find that any restriction on the who list or sending tells based on seeing in the light is silly to have. We can mysteriously whisper words from one end of the realm to another, but not if its light out! oh no, realism must be maintained!

He had infra eq, if I understand correctly? Or else you weren't totally in the dark? light source in the room?

If none of the above are true, I suspect a bug.
