I was walking through GH an an Enourmous Myconid Attacked me... wow... he must of just POPED OUT OF THE BLUE! an all GH guards aggroed me... then he all of a sudden summoned me into his lair! i thought he was just chillin in GH not walkin home!

If the guards assist you to kill other mobs, you can twink major things with it.

Its happened before and if it was re-implemented it would happen again.

note how jurdex's reason is one line and makes sense and isnt really arguable?

also...i find it funny that a roleplay reason is provided which is the incorrect or almost totally incomplete reason, when players complain about something not fitting reality we are laughed at essentially.

Jurdex, If Gueards ASSIST you you could verry easyly twink stuff.. but it shuldent assist the myconid.. if attack some mod they kill me... some mob attacks ME they shuldent kill me

Evil life is supposed to be hard. You chose to be evil so live with it. This is the same situation as the insane woman and the watchers in BS. It's the way the game is designed. Normally, the myconid is out of the way but it's possible that it can be. You just got unlucky. And you could've easily fled out of the way. Don't blame your death on game design. Blame yourself for lack of knowledge and slow reflex.

People in BS used to use that assisting code to get the watchers and baron's mistress to incap level 40+ mobs for a challenge, easy xp, insane money (from what I've heard), and cool eq (Whistles innocently) so that's why they changed it in general.

Even from an RP perspective they shouldn't be helping you slaughter stuff just to stand by as you loot the bodies.

Just live in WD and roll a human if you hate it too much.

Sad to say, I'm pretty sure there still are mobs out there that assist/rescue players against other mobs... and they ARE used to twink stuff.
