For a while now the way these items are flagged in the game have bothered me.
Its hard for me to complain because I was (i believe) the second mortal ever to own a rockcrusher and am the proud new owner of a skullsmasher.

I don't like the fact that SkullSmasher only knocks down a couple of things that I can't otherwise knock down as a warrior. It would be nice if it worked on either giants or wraiths or something more than it currently does!
In a balance comparison, rockcrusher last I used it (2 wipes ago) knocked down just about everything.
And giantbane I never owned but now I notice it's !evil. And RockCrusher is dwarf only? While I highly appreciate that skullsmasher is useable by me, I still wish it could knock down a few more things. Either that, or would be nice to have giantbane useable by evils.
Just a few thoughts.

I am the only person who quested a rockcrusher! the rest of you had crappy ancient mithril hammers! later I gave the rockcrusher to Nomar so two ppl have owned a rockcrusher!

skullsmasher was wicked kewl when it could bash immaterials.
ya know there is something to be said for the days when sojourn was not balanced. stacking twilight procs, blurring weapons procing on procs... real lich touch, multiple inferno's, squid bash, 1.8k airs, monks, when windsong was windsong not a glittering elven scimitar.
thats not to say soj3 isnt a fukin awesome environment, its just different.

On the subject of Dorf only weapons...
Are ther any WORTHWHILE Barbarian ONLY weapons? The few i recall at the moment seem to be barb, dorf, half-elf &/or human Only.. But none that i know of are strictly barbaian only? Ice Breath dagger is not Barbarian only is it?
Either way the barbarian weapons seem to all be dorfable and by god that is just not on!! Smelly little runts shouldn't touch any weapons of power, they should be locked in the grotty little holes they crawled out of.

Weapons in the game now far out weight anything that has been on sojourn in the past sans artifact/relics of course.
I think the bashing procs on those hammers are balanced...You can't bash immaterials (.) with a physical weapon, it's air after all.
I agree that giantsbane should be usable by any dwarf/duergar, but then again you have to be an evil dwarf to use two-handed mithril hammer, and that just doesn't seem fair to the goodie dwarves now does it if you can use giantsbane as evil. So get neutral or something to that affect :P
