I think there needs to be a 2-3 day waiting period before this takes effect. I think only the top leader of the guild should be able to remove someone instantly.

As Glorishan said last night... It should be like buying a gun. So tempers go down and cool off and think clearer.

IMHO...

This should be guild driven, IE: that person could come back but with a penelty for loosing it, if the guildies wanted them back. Yeah, it's like buying a gun, but if you really want out, there's the door!

Making this so you couldn't do it when you wanted to would simply lead to some very, very offensive petitions on the subject at the time of the argument. It's better to let the guilds handle this themselves.

I have to agree with Itchy. It's real easy to reapply yourself once things clear up as long as the association has a few officers.

IMHO, let people secede when they want to ... but re-application to the same or another guild should be a rl week or something like that... to prevent guild-hopping
