i know better things to ask about but....

when you change self/nondetect.. and say .. *far stretch* i am a snake.. i change to a human.. i go to a shop that cheats snakes but loves humans.. why do i get cheated when i am for all intesive purposes a human?.....

if he cant detect align me... and i look like a human act like a human... why not give me the price of a human...

or elf....other than prices...
if i am a snake,... and there is a "elf only" portal *not that there is one mind you :P*... but i change to an elf,/nond.. i am a elf.... but yet i cant enter...

#1 more important than #2 but you guys get my point

the magical nature of the portal could very well prevent you from entering....

i don't buy the same excuse for #1.

hmm, I think shops work on charisma. Lets say your adjusted charisma is 10 on the human scale then you would get the same price as a human with a charisma of 10 since change self doesnt affect your stats.

should your stat charisma score change when in a different racial form?

merchants should definitely give you a price based on your race and class (although im not sure how merchants know your class).

it should also take into account your charisma, however to assume that a yuanti with 100 charisma when changed self human would have 100 human charisma may be wrong. A yuan ti in human form may have exceptional human looks (high charisma) but probably not gonna embody the other things that charisma is... a jovial, easy to get along with, good speaker ect...

using this logic perhaps a yuan ti changed into an elf should get a price of an elf with with yuanti charisma. an elf changed into a yuanti would get a yuan price with elf charisma.

i didnt say because my cha changed...

some merchants will cheat yuanti but will give better prices to humans for example then
the cha score is added to that price to give you your price

my question is when i change from yuan to human or whut ever, why do i not get the benifits of such a change

instead i just recieve the same price for my race/cha no matter of change

my Q is, why does not change self effect this

for example only.

elfs get better deals on tinkers than do yuanti, but when i change into a elf myself i get the same price that i had when i was a yuan...

Okay, here's a question... snakes can change self into humans... but no non-snake casters or rogues can change themselves into a snake?
