you tryin to tell me that a real necro would use a spell that surrounded his opponent in a fairy pink outline? i think not! Now.. if it were a crimson outline, and would be pretty to look at...

well it's a basic spell. all mages and mage hybrids seem to have it

if i remember correctly, all mages cept necromaner/lich and elementalist get it.

They have a spell (actually two options) that do similar things, and stack with faerie fire. (Necro/Liches that is)
