Quests

Postby SeawolfAKADurkin » Tue Jan 21, 2003 8:59 pm

I know this topic has come up before but I would just like to start it again. I am currently on 2 quests 1 for a garder shovel and another for a rose petal and a tiny bone ring. While I do not want to be given the answer out right, a hint to the area in which I should look or some other NPC's in the area giving clues would be a big help. For quests for powerful items should be vague all of them being that way takes away from the gam IMHO. I am currently looking for a garden shovel and I have spent over 10 hours trying to find the darn thing south of WD. Any suggestions are appreciated but to the Gods please consider giveing a bit more hints advice to lower level questers for some of us can't seem to join a group for an item and even if we do we are not allowed to get the item at the end of the quest.

ALso if there can be a indicator for which class the quest is for would be a help.

Thank you for your time
Durkin

Ask in game Durkin and I'm sure there are quite a few people who can help you. Heh, if it's the quest I think it is, that garden shovel was the first quest on Sojourn that I ever did.

She might have accidentally dropped the shovel while walking over a big hill nearby. It probably rolled away somewhere around there...

The rose petal and tiny bone ring give you an item for a quest that was never completed.

The item you get is of less worth than the tiny bone ring. Enjoy!

Nah. Just gonna chime in to say I laugh at your pathetic attempt to provoke me.

The easiest thing to solving the low end quests is to get the spell "locate object" and cast it multiple times (daytime is best). Casting after reboots is especially wise.

As to that quest with the petal and ring, I did not know the overall quest was still broken. The item you get though is not something you would wear. Locating the ring should tell you where to get it from, getting it is a different matter.

Guess I need to play a caster character only then. Thank you for info and honest discussion.

Durkin,

Consider writing some notes about the quest down, and remembering well the items that are mentioned.

Then, keep exploring! find new quests, collect items you're not even sure you need, quest with friends.

Though I'm sure someone here does quests one by one I would venture to say that the majority of us make it a continual process, building a knowledge and item base slowly.

Don't give up, quests are sooo incredibly cool when you finally start to piece them together.

You'd go to all the trouble of provoking Cherzra, someone who in temperament is like the proverbial lamb of spring, just for candy? *I* will give you a cookie for free

I'd start a document to keep track of them, I have over 50 pages just on GN quests, so they can get quite extensive. But... I can find what each mob actually said they wanted... among other things.
