Sudoku

Postby Klandal » Wed Jan 18, 2006 8:44 pm

I came across a whole book of Sudoku's. I completed Easy, moved on Medium with little effort. Hards took a little longer. Fiendish ones took a bit longer. I was really interested for a couple days but I came up with a few strategies that work for every one and it's fairly boring just applying the same strategies to different versions of the same puzzle. I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything, they just weren't worth the time after it was evident that they were the same crap over and over. :P

I got a Sudoku book for Christmas... I just haven't actually gotten a pencil sharpener so I can attempt the puzzles. Looks interesting though.

check out washingtonpost.com sudoku's - it's a neat javascript app to play with online or print out for later.

i love these things, even tho i pwn the "hardest" ones in like 20 minutes.

like klandal said, once you get the hang of them, there aren't really any impossible ones...

Sudoku isn't sudoku until you do what we've been doing lately - hexadecimal sudoku (4x4 grid). Try it and see :-)
